Reset answers / clear poll responses

Any answers you see that weren't sent by real players are placeholders / dummy responses, and will disappear when real answers are sent

No need to "reset" or "clear out" responses from new events. These are placeholders and will not show in a real event.

See more about sample responses, below.

Previous event responses from live players: ensure all older events are ended

If you are trying to re-use an event you've already run, this will show all responses from previous players.

Instead, end your old event (hover over the bottom right corner and click the red X, or click the yellow "end event" on your decks page) and launch a new one. Then invite your new players to join.

No need to reset or clear anything: each time you launch a deck, it's a brand new event where new players can join and send new responses to a blank slate. If you want to see older responses, you can look back over previous events in your past events tab.

Sample Responses in the Builder

Some slides (like the poll slide) will show you "sample responses" on specific steps in the builder. These are placeholders and will not appear in your live launched event.

Sample Responses in a Live Event

If you are running a test event and have not sent any responses, some slides (like the poll slide) will show a sample of responses so you can see how your slide will look when actual answers are sent.

Once even a single response is sent from a joined participant (including you as a joined player if you are trying it out / testing), those dummy answers will not display / are wiped clean.
