Using Slides With Friends over Zoom is easy. (You can see a video of how this ends up looking live, in our "Gameplay Demo" video.)

How to Run a Slides With Friends Deck over a Zoom Call

  1. Join your Zoom call

  2. Launch your Slides with Friends deck (learn how to launch an event)

  3. Share your screen through the Zoom platform.

  4. Have your group join in on their phones by scanning the QR code over the zoom screen

  5. Advance through your deck (like you would a Powerpoint presentation) and play along.

Best Practices

  • Use two monitors, one for your zoom call and one for your event presentation browser (see below)

  • For best results, use Google Chrome browser

  • Share just a single Chrome tab/window (rather than your desktop) when sharing your screen on Zoom

  • Make sure you select "Share Sound" in the bottom left of the screen share Zoom popup before hitting "Share Screen", for best sound board reaction audio experience ;)
