How to collect participant emails
Open the deck you want to run and select Launch Event. Find the Event Setting Modal option to collect player emails, and select with one you prefer.
There are three options that you can select from, as the host of the event:
Collect participant emails (required) - Players will see an email entry field below the name entry field. They won't be able to select "Join Event" unless they enter a valid email address
Request participant emails (optional) - Players will see an email entry field below the name entry field. They won't be able to select "Join Event" unless they enter a valid email address
Do not collect emails - there will be no email entry box on the player join screen.
What participants see
This will add a box to the Player Join Screen (the screen your participants reach when they scan your QR code) requesting or requiring an email address.
Collecting emails enables the following
Participants to rejoin your event if they lose the page - they'll receive an email with a rejoin link
You to send a recap to participants after event - they'll receive one final email with the link to your event recap, when the even has been ended.
Tracking participant performance over time (coming soon)
Export of participant list - You'll be able to export a document with names, email addresses, participation rate, and more.
Note that participant email export is a premium-only feature
